The lady on the phone told me that she can see my warranty card, but they have an automated mail opener and scanner, which couldn't read my card, so that's why it was rejected.

I would like to see that automated mail opener/scanner.....sou​nd like B.S. to me. Maybe she meant SCAMMER!

Update: I have receive my check yesterday-full amount

How long does it take for the website to be updated with my info?
I sent mine in Monday LAST WEEK, certified with return receipt...never got the return receipt back. I'm hoping USPS is just taking a while.

I went to the website and my information cannot be found yet.

I've got $930 in rebates...it would be a shame if I didn't get my money!

I sent my last rebate submission on Feb. 15th, and still have not received my return receipt card back yet. I called the 800 number the other day, and spoke to a person stating it could take up to 6 weeks for them to get it...

I will call again, one of these days...as the last post mark date is either up, or going to be, soon. At this point, you will have to send your claim to another address -- I was told this by the person I spoke to.

canon rebates

i got $15 postcard check in the mail (even though it didn't have the full address), but was expecting more. so i tracked down the number to call and talked to someone who said, "you're right, we did make a $115 mistake". you can expect another check in 6-8 weeks.

I got my Canon rebate

I sent my rebate forms to Canon on Feb2, and got my $640 rebate on the 5D and the 85mm f1.8 yesterday. So in all it took just over 6 weeks . Hope this info helps those of you that were wondering.

Mailed mine in March 6, status showed the check was mailed today. We'll see how long it take for it to get here.

Canon Rebate - Must Be Postmarked Tomorrow

Hey eveyrone, I've been enjoying my gear soo much that I forgot to send in my rebates and I realized it has to be postmarked by tomorrow. I'm wondering if I'm going to have any trouble if I head to the post office to mail it in tomorrow? I've been reading around the forums and I'm going to take the advice thats been posted and make copys of everything before I send it in, anything else I should make sure to do before I mail in my rebate?

Have the Postal Service photocopy your envelope after they postmark it for you to keep as proof. I've done this a few times at my local Post Office.

Registered, Return Receipt. Done, after you make copies of everything. Staple the Cut-outs to paper, and make copies of the warranty cards. You should be good, mailing it tomorrow, and all.

You may want to "preregister" your rebate online with canon. You can get all the info off of the copies you made. I believe the web address is on the rebate form. It is supposed to make it process faster. Don't know if it does but my rebate was pretty fast. Preregistered on Feb. 28-got email check is on it's way March 17. If you do it online you get a status address to click on and keep up to date.

I got my $15. What to by first......hmmmmmmm.
