I have a reversable Botero muslin backdrop from b&h..I love it...I used on my latest job...tons of kids...one of the babies spit up on it everybody stepped in it resulting in gross muddy footprints. It got so dirty...there was nothing there to clean it up with.. I can't find any cleaning instructions. Can I wash it in cold on delicate? Handwash? or just spot clean? Any suggestions? I don't want to ruin it. Spot cleaning would be really difficult as it is filthy....Thanks in advance...Kim A:D

I think I've read Amvona's site that only dyed muslin is machine washable. If it's painted on, you can't even wash it at all.

If yours is dyed, then I think you're ok with cold water and delicate cycle.

Maybe someone knows more. :(

Do what's recommended for other cloth of unknown washability - try hand-washing (wetting and soaping) a small, inconspicuous spot on it to see how it does.

Try handwashing in the tub using cold water and mild soap.
