very interesting indeed...have you considered a graduated desaturation for this? an extreme for each end...fire on the bottom, no color on top... could be interesting

Only rotated the shot 180° and elevated the saturation.

Humm, good idea. I did not change the gradient as I kind of liked the blueish cast, as if it was some smoke. But I will give your idea a try, it seems more than worth a go. Thanks!

Habakuk, (good name BTW) I would hang that on my own wall and I didn't take it. Nice job!
