Framing/matting is much easier with a border around the print to work with and if you want exactly 8X10 you have that option too. All you need is a rotary trimmer and straight edge. Haven't checked prices but I imagine the more common 8 1/2 X 11 is cheaper than the "specialty" 8X10 paper. JimE

Haven't checked prices but I imagine the more common 8 1/2 X 11 is cheaper than the "specialty" 8X10 paper. i do a lot of matting and am fully aware of the usual meathods. in this case i got one of those all glass frames and therefore need a borderless print as the print mounts directly in between the panes of glass. I ended up just printing it on 8.5x11. i only brought this up because i bought a pack of canon 8x10 paper in hopes i could bypass the above time consuming meathods. Mr. the Kid.
