I recently bought a CP-E3 battery pack and after seeing how many AA batteries it took I began an internet search to find a reliable source for reasonably priced rechargeable batteries. In my search, I ran across this general information site that I thought might be useful for my fellow POTN'ers.

Nice little write-up they have there. Too bad they don't go more in depth with Lithium-Ion batteries, as I would guess that is what most people use in their cameras. Good info for AA's in your flash tho!

I find 2000+mah Nimh's are usually a good bet. A couple sets can get me through about 500 shots in a 580EX
