I really love your work. How did you do this? if you dont mind sharing your dark secrets with me.
I feel really crummy in refusing your request, but it would just take too long. Usually those magazine and book articles explain a technique in eight or ten steps and 'snap!' there it is. Unfortunately my pieces take not much time to do, but a LOT of steps. I work very fast, perhaps this entire piece, including posting, took forty minutes? But I looked at the three files in which I saved them and there are dozens of layers and layer masks, and gradient masks... I burn up a lot of storage space. I can tell you that it involved selctive use of filters, prominently the filters > distortion > spherize filter. But I also used others, and of course lots of blending modes, many with ample use of masks and opacity adjustments. Honest, I am not being invasive nor secretive. Just don't have the space nor time to write it all out. Actually, this is the case even with images of mine that appear super straight forward. Each is a learning experience, do you know what I mean? Sorry, but thanks for the compliments, they mean a lot.

Ted - are you being harassed by buildings again?

Yeah... and as you can see, bulky, muscular ones are menacing me. Hulp!...
