I'm relatively new, but it's nice to have even newer views; we haven't had very many from France. While I'm officially bilingual because of where I live, I'm afraid my French is limited to the high school programme which terminated in June 1958.

That being said, and without intending to invoke the ire of fellow participants in North America, I often find that the level of English grammar and spelling from European participants often exceeds that of many of us that claim the language as our first and only one.

couldn't agree more. the only thing I liked about french was the whole kissing on the cheek thing, and ofcourse all the wine... ..
