I have bought, sold and traded lenses and cameras around quite a bit here and on FM. Only had one bad experience. After that experience I made myself a rule. No matter how great a deal it is..... I will not buy from someone with less than 100 posts and if all his posts are regarding selling and they don't have much feedback then I will pass. There are people out there that pass themselves off as photographers on these forums and you assume you are buying their personal equipment but it is a group just unloading equipment (maybe even hot). I just am a lot more wary now. In fact now that I think about it... I have bought everything new since then.

My 20D and first 2 lenses were purchased used online. Since then, everything has been new. If a bargain came along, I'd not hesitate to buy online used again.

There needs to be a maybe choice. NO WAY EBAY, here maybe.

And if it wasn't L glass I wouldn't have a problem with used.
