That is a really nice photo - it looks surreal in colour!

Ommagawd! What a composition. That blue.. what? Saphire that peeks from the eaves, and then the red... and the greens off to the right hand corner.... and... and... the strict geometry, almost two dimensionally displayed (What? A long lens to compress distance?). And the foreboding sky juxtaposed against that pristine sidewalk.
Your churches seem so sterile... well groomed, tediously cared-for... yet places without people... Hmmmmm...

I particularly like the lighting on the front shrubbery which are so well formed by the sun that they become the true three dimensional objects on the otherwise flattened surface. It's as if Arbus made this place one of her off-kilter subjects. There's more candor here than the chapel's owners intended. Their precision, coupled with yours brings out the fact that they may have been much more preoccupied with detail than with the ultimate intention of this place. An almost forelorn confusion with process over product?

Thanks for sharing.

great photo... the lighting adds to the depth and composition of the photo... the reds and blues are striking (in a good way)

300D, kit lens, Nifty- Fifty, 70-200 L f4, and a rapidly growing wish list
