That's how long until I'm in the glorious L club. I placed the order last night and B&H says it's shipped today. finally broke down and got one. A 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM that is. Been wanting to push the button for a while now and finally had the balls to do it. Now the waiting begins. Have to go find me a Duck next weekend ;).

Congrats! I'm sitting on the sidelines with Dooner, but we'll be looking forward to seeing your duck!

I HATE waiting. Why didn't you spring for the overnight shipping? You are better man than I am.

This will be the longest 3-5 days of your life. I wish I could have a nickel for every time I've gone to the UPS site to check the shipping status of an item.

I've got 300/2.8 I.S. arriving on monday, it's going to be a very very long 48hrs. If only UPS would deliver on saturday or sunday... i can see it in UPS tracking, it's just 50 miles away and not moving :(

Congrats on the new lens. Just got mine, but the ducks have all gone south for the winter. Have taken pics of everything in the house. Wife is getting p*ssed at me. :D
