Hand held, ISO 1600 1/50 sec f5.6 EF 100-400 @ 400 IS 1 manual focus using my 20D.
So here was my last chance to see the McNaught comet before it wraps around the sun and is no longer visible us in the northern hemisphere so of course I grabbed the camera and made a mad dash around the area to find an area with a high enough elevation to get a somewhat unobstructed view to get a look and perhaps a picture.
The temp out was 5°F(-15°C) and there was a thin layer of clouds plus all the garbage in the air here in Minneapolis but I had to try. Spotted Venus and looked slightly to the north on the western horizon and there was this fuzzy little comet.
