they have a special photographer's day next tuesday Jan. 16, 2007; look at their website for specifics, but you can get there and be inside shooting at 8am, an hour before it is open to the public, but u need to bring a real camera, not camera phone;

Will they allow monopods during regular hours? I work nights so 8am isn't happening. I can get up "early" and be there by 11am with an out of town drive. I've e-mailed Cobo twice about monopods and they haven't responded to either. I don't want to get turned away at the door when I'm parked at the zoo and came from 100 miles away.

I was there yesterday, they say no tripods on the website and I saw 1 person in there with one, BUT that was during an industry day and he may have been a pro as well. I did not want to risk it so I did not take mine.
