Managed to get out with the camera today. Good job too as had a large operation last week, cutting out a lump from my chest and having another op on Monday but feeling OK.

I love this stuff as rather than moan about the environ, you can make it work and get some cool 'urban' feel going on. For reference these games are played upon Bristol's Durdham Downs, the biggest expanse of greenland in a city anywhere in the world. It is huge and one section of the grounds houses 88 pitches. Apparently it is the biggest Saturday league in Europe.

Anyway, various settings due to variable weather.

Enjoy !

Had an op last Monday, haven't had the energy to get the kit out yet!

Pete these are a really strong set of images, shows all that's needed for "park" footie. Tackles, commitment, celebrations, bit of a creative eye with the goalie and the car. Love the full monty line up  .

Thanks for posting, and hope all goes well monday

Shaun

Like the shots, really good. Favourite is the one with the crowd, true grassroots footy crowd. Hope all goes well.

Durdham Downs sounds strangely like Hackney Marshes. Some excellent shots as usual Pete... #5 is my pick of the bunch.

Glad you're feeling OK... and hope things go well on Monday.
