I have my 10D set to save RAW files. By default, it automatically also makes a JPEG thumbnail. My work flow goes Downloader Pro / Breezebrowser / Photoshop CS./ Archive to CD-ROM.
Are the JPEG thumbnails just taking up space or are they used by any of the programs?

Are you referring to the *.thm file that corresponds to the *.CRW file. If you are then I would suggest that you keep them. I was originally deleting them but they are relatively small in size. I learnt on this forum that alot of the EXIF information is stored in the THM file and if you need to later access that some of it will be lost. You can rebuild the THM off the CRW file but not all EXIF will remain.

As a default I have my camera set to RAW format and I don't get any JPG files when I download??

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
