I was going to wait until I got a little more experience, but I figured this might be a good time for C+C. These are my first shots indoors. I had started the morning with the kit lense and that was giving me problems ( because of the bad lighting and the speed of the lens). I grabbed the 50 1.8 and things got a little happier. I'm hoping the lighting will improve as we travel to different gyms.

My son, Alex ( green)

Tighter crop would be great. Even if it's just the heads on the people in the background. For some reason, we tend to look for faces, and if there's only the subjects to focus on, we ignore pretty much every thing else :)

That's the puppy! And if you can both faces, it's even better. Did your son win?

Thanks Borg. I will remember to try and capture both faces. He did win that match. Alex is 11 and has been wrestling since kindergarden. Here is one of my friends son.
