I think the last one of the Mustang, Eagle, Falcon and Thunderbolt trailing the photographer is by far the best image. Can you imagine the pilot of the leading plane looking in his rear view mirror to see that formation coming at him. Utterly Awesome!!!!!

It's rare to see shots taken from such a fantastic vantage point so I'm guessing this guy must be with either the Air Force or maybe employed officially by the NY show organisers ? Also I would love to know what aircraft he was shooting from.

What wouldn't you give to get the chance just once in your life to take shots from that vantage point?

Thanks for an excellent link and hopefully the photographer will get the credit he deserves for a set of stunning photographs.
