IndyJeff,
The raceway is not to far from me, about 1.5 hours if traffic is normal. I've never been to an Indy race before, sounds like it would be fun. Maybe we can meet up there. I'll keep it in mind.
I know I will be attending the Super Chevy show at the dragway in Joliet in August.

I also think it would be great if people could post a photo representing the area they are from. For those who have already postsed, just edit that post. :D

Hmmm, I spose not then. :(

Sorry, the 'real' OC is Ocean City, MD - been that way for as long as I can remember, and I don't want to tell you how many years that is. But, maybe that word never made it to the left coast. :) :D

I'm from San Diego, California. I got bored so I left at the age of 2 months and headed east. Currently I call Connecticut my home. I'm a few minutes from I-95, so give me a wave if you're passing through.

We haven't planned the route yet, but I-70 is a strong possibility. If it looks like we're going to be anywhere near there, I'll definitely get in touch with you. I'll even buy the beers.

I'll let you know after we make a few decisions regarding the itinerary.

Thanks,

Tom

Y'all need to swing down through Nashville and Chattanooga (where you can visit Tom W):

Then, you can swing down to Atlanta and spend a couple of grand at KEH.com, cut across I-85 to I-77, and head through one of my favorite interstate drives, I-77 near Wytheville. Then you can catch I-81 and follow the Appalacian mountians northeast.

Upon reflection, and considering how one word can make all the difference, Ocean City is known as 'OC' and the other is known as 'The OC' (right?), so we can both coexist. I might take you up on your offer, though, if I could just take and keep a few small parts and transplant them to the right coast. There are several car and Bike shops that I would love to have closer to me - I wouldn't take all of them, just enough to keep from having to pay shipping when I want something. Let me know if we can work something out. :) :D

Tom, that's a nice picture you posted. What camera did you use to take that picture? It's really nice and sharp.

I'm outside of Denver, Colorado and when I get some nice snaps of the Rockies that aren't embarassing - I will post them.

Tom W. I will be in Nashville for the IRL race in July, I think it is. How far are you from Nashville Speedway? I always stay off 24 at Murphfreesboro at the Sleep Inn. Outback is just across the road....good steak and good martini's. What's better after a day at the race track?

Leo, that picture was taken with my S-400 last summer. Its the Walnut Street Bridge in Chattanooga (pedestrians only now). The bridge has been around a while, and has a wooden deck. I've got a decent album of 4X6 prints from the Elan that I may scan some day.
