Hello!
We've had an IXUS 430 for about 2.5 yrs now and in the last month or so I've noticed real problems with trying to get a good focus - quite a few recent pictures look a bit fuzzy . I mainly take pictures of my son who is 18 months and as you can appreciate I do not have loads of chances to wait for the camera to find a focus!! It seems to be taking quite a while to find a point to focus on. In the past we've not had any major problems and looking back through old pictures they look much clearer/less grainy. I've tried most of the obvious things to avoid fuzziness and get it focused but it is now taking me a lot of time to get a good picture. I use the camera as a point and shoot so if I can't do that...it's not much good to me.
So, I'm just wondering if there is something I'm missing or if there is a finite lifespan for cameras and it is just starting to go downhill. I sort of expected it to last longer than 2 yrs, but hey I guess technology has moved on a lot since then too.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rachelle
