This is what I would like to fit:

30D grip and 17-55 2.8 IS (Hood reversed) attached
50mm 1.4
550ex flash
batt charger
maybe another small lens

I have been looking at the slingshot 200, is this a good bag?

I want something kinda small and fast access.

Any other bags that I should look at?

Lowepro toploaders or stealth reporter bags give quick access with small formfactors.

I have the Slingshot 200 AW. It's really easy to use and much easier to access.

Here's a link on the National Geographic Medium Shoulder bag.
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=229672

This shoulder bag is well worth checking out. Nice design that doesn't scream camera bag, decent size, light weight. You could easily fit your listed kit into it.

Maybe take a look at the Tamrac velocity 9, It has room in the central slot for a body and 70-200 and two slots for lenses and flash. plus room in the flap for all the other stuff, filters, batteries, cards etc.

How is that to wear? Is it as comfortable?

I've got the 100. all that stuff would fit in my bag so I'm sure it would fit in the 200 with room to grow.

-EDIT-

didn't see that you had the grip on the 30. that would make the 100 a bit tight. i still think the 200 would work for you though.

I have the Velocity 9 and used it for two weeks trekking through France. Held everything nicely and it was very easy to sling it forward for lens changes and access to other accessories. It would have been nice if the strap was reversible so I could use the other shoulder now and then, but then I don't think many (if any) sling bags have this feature. Overall I was very pleased with it.

Slik Sprint GM with SBH-100 Ballhead
and a truckload of 35mm SLRs...

Im debaiting if I want something as big as the 200 though. How do you think the 30D with grip and 17-55 2.8 IS would fit in the 100?

Yeah that is something negative for slings. I never thought of that because all I have now is a backpack.

BTW I have this case logoic backpack and LOVE it. I can fit a 30D w grip, 70-200 2.8 IS, 17-55 2.8 IS, 50mm 1.8 550ex flash, macbook, and a TON of accessories in it with room to spare!

that's why i didn't get the 200. it was only a couple bucks more but i didn't want a bag that big. if i was gonna get a bag as big as the 200 i would just get a backpack. I've got the 400d with the grip and it fits with room to spare in my 100 even when i leave my tripod mount attached. i think the 30 would fit but it might be tight. id take my camera to a brick and mortar store and give it a try if i were you.
