somehow i managed to keep the jet still during the bumps

sort of a photo 101 shot ... but i've never really done long exp

anyway, here it is

Pretty good photo. I know how hard it is to try and keep the camera still while on approach to the airport. How'd you do it? Just really steady hands or did you prop the camera up against something? Also what city is that? Looks like an approach into L.A.

Well, for one, I have physical IS built into my lens. So - that helps.

I just wedged the camera against my body and the window. I was actually just playing around (quite bored after a long flight) - but it worked. (Mostly).

It is approach to Madrid.
