Canon BG-E3

I had a opteka battery grip for my rebel xti. It was working fine for a month or so. It started to have problems. I purchase the Canon BG-E3 for my rebel Xti. I just receive it today from B&H. The quality is a lot better then the Opteka battery grip. I was told they're are the same in quality built, but this is not true for me. The Canon feels a lot better and stronger. Everything is piece together nicely. I have not tested it out yet because my friend is borrowing my camera. I hope everything turns out ok.

A quick question. You know how the BG-E3 was made for the rebel xt, will it have any problem working with my rebel xti?

The bg-e3 is an official accessory for the xti so you don't have to worry about any compatibility issues.

The rubber grip was coming off and the shutter bottom only worked half the time.

So far so good with my Opteka. If and when it does fail, I'll get a BG-E3.
