Not the best in the world but the best ive been able to capture with my 70-300 apo, cant wait to up grade to the 70-200 F/4L
I have found that this sigma lens is great lens for the money but its sweet spot seems to be about 190mm after that it falls off quickly really surprised at the visible difference in raw photos between 190 and 300!!
Shot setting were.
1. 1/125 f/5.0 190mm iso 400
2. 1/80 f/5.6 300mm iso 400

The first shot is great. I like really like the feel of it with deer back in the trees, but the trees do not dominate it. Nice!

First shot is awesome. I see what you mean about the quality at 300mm- but was this handheld or on a tripod? If handheld, you might have some camera shake happening.
