So, I made a post a couple of months ago showing some of the photos from a series i'm doing. I just reworked a bunch of them and im wondering if i can get some comments on the b/w conversion and other aspects of the photos.

And, I think Harry wants his glasses back! It's not nice to take things from people!

These are different -- in a great way. I like them, especially the ones with the round glasses, since these accentuate the desired effect.

Good shots - I especially like the B&W conversion on #1 and #2. The eyes on #5 are a little white to me, not sure if you dodged them at all, but they seem a little too 'glowy' or something. JMO.

Well done!

Well, i was trying to fit his entire afro in the frame, and i went too wide, and you're seeing part of the ringlight.

Thanks man. that means a lot coming from the inventor of the man-panties.

Thanks, I converted to b/w with a fred miranda action. then i applied the lucisart filter very lightly just to give it that pop.

Yeah, I was dead-set in keeping these in color, but then i shot a few in black and white with a 4x5 camera, and i loved the way the turned out.

Thanks man, These were mostly shot with the 50mm f/1.8 and the 24-70 f/2.8. as far as my set up... its basically the light resting on my table, facing the subject thats on a chair in front of a wall. thats it. nice and simple.

Thanks!, I didnt dodge anything but i burned a lot of the hot spots on the faces. the red filter on the conversion blew out some things a little too much.
