My son, now seven, had fibral seizures whenever a fever spiked to >99. Nothing like a seizure to strike a parent with fear. they generally grow out of them, or never have them, again. He also had stitches in forehead - shaped like an "L". Since his name is Al, I keep threatening to finish his name if he doesn't listen. Kids are usually tough, glad to hear your's is back to his normal self. :)

Tell me about it. My wife went hysterical (along with most of the family), but I remained surprisingly calm throughout the ordeal. Somehow I knew that it would pass.

Glad you guys appreciate me sharing this experience with you.

Glad he is doing better. You were trained to stay calm in serious situations. When people (not all) get hysterical, they tend to make poor desisions based on emotion and not intellect. So I am glad you were calm. Tough kid too.... I would have cried the whole time!:o

So when do we get a slide show of your trip?

I'm still sorting through them all. I'm just picking out a few here and there and posting them randomly. So are you back with us now, Rob? In the market for a new kit?

Yes, I finally back!:D I am not sure what I want to get yet though. I only have alittle to spend for now. So either a used 30d and kit lens, or used xt with a couple of decent lenses, a grip and a flash. Ill probably go with the xt, just so I can get better glass and a flash. I really want the 30d though.

Glad he's on the way to recovery, my daughter spent a week with here hands tied to the bed in the hospital. She almost lost a kidney and had to have major surgery and after that she had to learn to walk and use her kidneys again (cathoter tube for a month) Anyway it was very scarry.
Hope everything goes well, makes you love the little guy even more.

Man, that's just terrible. My little guy definitely gave us a scare, so it's hard to imagine going through your ordeal. Hope all is well.

Thanks LM that was 5 years ago and all seems well but in the back of your mind you always worry about your kids and pray for there health. I imagine all your military training helped you stay calm. You have to have at least one calm member in the family. ;)
