20D RAW

How do i get raw images off my 20D onto a computer. I can view all my jpegs but not my RAW files althougfh i can wview them on the camera:cry:

If you have the CD that came with the 20D install the software Digital Photo Professional. (DPP) It's a good raw conversion program.

Make sure you download the latest update from Canon!

There is also a Microsoft thingie...to allow you to view RAW files in Preview...

ok i got the raw files in photoshop but all thev ones i took in black and white come out in colour.

All RAW shots will be taken in color. When you shoot B&W it only applies to the JPG's.

No kidding. Anyway, any parameters you set for sharpness, saturation, hue, etc. are only applied to the JPG and the previews on the LCD. RAW is minimally processed data.

I am a novice in photoshop, but you can easily change color to black and white by moving the saturation slide to the left.
