Questions reguarding an A80 and lenses...

Hello all,

I've had my A80 for exactly one week now and have snapped about 600 shots already

I'm happy with my camera and still feel confident in my purchase decision. I'm still learning my camera; taking test shot after test shot...etc. I've only gotten two out of the bunch that I'd show you guys....
One up close..
And one w/ post processing (diffused in PS) - I edited it due to a very overcast day and some of the tree's got really washed out..

Anyway, my questions...

Is there anyway to use an SLR type lens?

I'm aware that using a tube adapter allows you to use a telephoto, wide angle or close up. Can anyone give a recommendation as to any specific model, brand or kit for lens accessories?

I feel myself getting into this new hobby of mine and am wondering what my accessory limitations are.

I've never heard of anyone using SLR lenses on any PowerShot camera. Sorry.
