And here is me just waiting for a nicely priced 30d to come my way, or a 20d even

But no, i just have to keep telling myself that the 400d plus grip is more camera than i need right now and that i need new glass before a new body

mmm... but 24mm on a 1.3x is just not wide enough for me :D hahaha... too used to film, so had a hard time adjusting to 1.6x. FF for the win for me :D

I got bad influences here too with friends telling me to buy a 5D now so they can "acquire" my 30D :|

Well I've just finished hopefully the final edit for the busines cards. Thought I'd go simple but non-specific for the time being. Left as much white around the edge incase anyone wants to write anything.

Ignore the red around the very outer edge, that part is for the printers. Apparently it's their margin of area section.

The red writting may be white as well because with the place I'm looking at to print the cards does colour one side and b&w the other side. To have colours on both sides it's an extra $37. So I don't think a little bit of red writting is worth an extra $37.

I just sold my old 300D today to a friend, when I get the 5D the 30D is going nowhere though.

yeah i was going to compile a list of what we were chasing... and then see if we can source it from adorama or something similar... if not, i'll work something out with B&H.

if we send over our CC card details, do they keep them on record? so we dont' have the same drama next time?

@ Feng - ah righteo then. So that means I'll save myself a couple of thousand if I go for the 5DII for that reason then. Hah... it'll be released way before I have the money for it :P

@ Kinnon - nice card! =)

you know, there have been something like 25 replies in the last half an hour or so... I've just been refreshing the page but MSN is telling me that I have quite a few POTN update emails :P

kinnon, it looks great, but if you want people to be able to read your name, change your font, because all I can see is ki and the rest is a blur. There is no way I would be able to pick your name out of it.

Hi All,

On the topic of new releases, if Canon are true to previous form the expect a new camera around Aug/Sept. They seem to run their cameras on a 18mth replacement schedule. So the 30D is due to be replaced this Sept. 5D was due in Feb/Mar and the failure to do this upset a lot of people. Get over it!!

Me, I'm more than happy with my 30D for now. I have no great desire to jump to full frame, although I reserve the right to change my mind whenever I want.:p
