there's a lot more 2nd hand Canon gear at Ted's than I've seen in a long while. They had a 180 Macro in there for only $100 less than you can pick it up new. To me, if you are dropping that money on it then another $100 just gives you the peace of mind of a shight and briney new lens.

kinnon, i think it would be better if one could read your name straight away. Try some differnt fonts, and see what you come up with. First impact counts.

I don't think any of you guys use it but IMatch (external link) has just release a major upgrade. Backup and upgrade time for me buy the looks of it. I didn't go in of the long series of Beta's and may even hold off for a month or so to make sure it's super stable.

IMatch is one thing I plan to talk about/demo 3rd June. See if I can get some converts.

I really can't wait for the demo... if it's any good, I may install it into a virtual PC (damn non mac version ;) hehe)

Morning all :D

Another question... when I start to upload photos to my gallery for the web is the a standard size or pixel resolution people use so people don't go downloading my photos willy nilly?

for most things, i'd make them 800px wide size wise (mainly to conform with here)... but if you want them as samples, then maybe it'd pay to investigate watermarking?

oh... MORNING :)

god you lot can yack! pages upon pages, and i was only on last night!

And this from a person with an average of NINE posts every day:D :D (But I totally agree with you Tina...Three pages full in just one day!

Okay...I went exploring 400km of the surrounding countryside today and found the most wonderful places. St Bathan's mining pit is an amazing place and I sooooooo wish I could upload the photos I took there....sadly...I can't:cry:

We MUST orgainise a POTN outing to NZ sometime.

Helen Don't worry...I'm doing plenty of exploring. I have to email my daughter each day to make sure our pet birds are still alive and the house is in one piece! I've explored the inside of FIVE NZ pubs today...Monteith's Winter Ale is amazing and you guys can't get it over there:p

Kinnon If you aren't going to do much wedding photography, then I like your card as is.

I'll speak to you guys again no doubt.

See Ya:D
