holy crap! where to i start
I have been pretty busy lately at Tafe and a little bit of working aswell.
@spam - my mate always gets his slide film done at prolab and thats not for commercial use so I think you will be fine there. I will have to ask him more about it. All these subliminal messages are killing me ! especially when I dont have the money for anything... i really need to try harder when i'm saving

Here's some recent photos of mine too.

Had another stab at some more macro shots in the garden, this time with the tripod. I thought i had gotten a few more decent shots of that fly from before but the wind picked up just at the wrong moment and blew the leaf it was sitting on all over the place.

oh oh oh, I just stopped by the PO Box on the way home from a job interview and my 24-70 was there! Totally unexpected! I'll have to pop by about 4 this arvo and hopefully my 5D will be there too. How good would that be, my 24-70 AND 5D in one day!

nice Kinnon.

Just thinking of this B&H order... what are some good extension tubes to get? Just canon ones? or are others more worthwhile?

IMO the canon ones are bit pricey, for about 170 US, you can get a full set of kenko tubes. They are the equivilant of the ones that i bought yesterday

What do you get in a set of kenkos? (like what's actually classed as 'a set').

I mean... is there a reason they're more exy apart from being Canon?

A typical set includes a 12, 20 and a 36mm tube and that can be had for $169 from B&H but a single canon 25mm tube is something like $130.

The best part about having the set is being able to stack them together and focus really really close.

Edit: here is the page for the kenkos http://www.bhphotovideo.com …o_Extension_Tube_Set.html (external link)
