My dad just suggested that me and him take the cameras up to mt coot-tha again later on. One thing, i dont have a remote release for the 20d yet (everywhere i have been to wants $90 for it and i can get it for $70 from photobuff).

Would i get away with just using MLU, self timer and one of the set longer shutter speeds that the camera has?

I havn't got my timer remote switch thing yet... so I set the camera to whatever settings I'm after and use the self timer thing and just wait for it... cumbersome at the best of times, but it works :)

Yeah there's nothing wrong with using the self-timer in lieu of a remote release. It's like a built in backup for those times when I forget to throw the remote in the bag

I think we are walking around the city.

Personally I want to go back to the Roma St parklands again. Offer stands for the Sigma 105 Macro tomorrow if anybody wants to borrow it.

Yeah. Good question. I think it's a "secret destination":D But I did find out where we meet.

Oh yeah...we have to all stand together at Central Station and yell out at the top of our voices, "God Save the Queen" and "Happy Birthday Betty Windsor". I sent her a B'day card with a $5 scratchy...is that enough do you think?
