Hi all, hows the weekend been?

Anybody else using a Win Mobile Phone, I found a cool free app for mine this arvo. Called slide 2 unlock, it gives a slide bar on the touch screen to unlock the phone. Apparently the iPhone does this and the Apple lawyers have started to throw their weight around.

You must be kidding!!! I would rather drink VB than most NZ beers. There is only a few worth mentioning Montieth's Celtic Red is the best Kiwi beer by far very nice. Speight's is ok but i found it too gassy with no head.

Prior to 1981 passports between the 2 countries weren't required. I travelled back and forth frequently under the ANZAC rule.

Have you used the 100-400 yet? What did you think of it?

Yeah I love the reach... still a bit ho hum about push pull zoom, but I'm sure it's one I'd get used to. I don't think this copy I'm using is all that sharp... but it seemed ok when I went out shooting today. I don't think I could've got half the shots I got today with a 70-200 :).

Oh for God's sake....New Zealand wins one little game of football and crows about it like they're "the king of the world". (When in fact they're really Australia's eighth state.) That ought to stir the pot a bit :-D

Well... I'd agree with Mat on the red wines, but AU whites are shocking to say the least...

lol - um - what are you really saying...

It was quite easy - just like flying interstate here now but with the bonus of duty free that was true duty free. Kiwis were restricted, back then, with how much cash they could carry out of the country ($1000 a trip to a maximum of $4000 a year and anything over that had to be approved prior to travel) but a grand bought a LOT of things then. (for example and perspective, $25,000 bought me a three bedroomed house in Auckland)

Very nice. Yeah when i first saw it i really wanted to make an offer, but the last thing i need is a heap more old camera stuff. Although, like i said in an earlier post, im looking for a rangefinder to use as a point and shoot camera and then develop the film myself at home. Ill buy the ricoh off you if you want to sell it :)

AAARRGGHHH, has anyone ever come across this problem? I am shooting, but my camera doesn't seem to be able to send the information the card. I take my shot, wait for the review, and it doesn't happen. the little red lights flickers, and then nothing, i am back to where i was before i took the shot. It doesn't happen all the time, it is intermittent, and doesn't matter if i shoot raw or jpeg. It is really peeving me, i thought at first it was a memory card problem, but i have used several cards, and it is happening on all of them! Off to photoc. tomorrow, thank god i got my camera from them, but now i am stressing, as i head off to cairns on tuesday.

Do the images appear on your computer if you put the card in its card reader? If so, your camera is recording the images, so maybe the LCD screen on your camera isn't showing them.
