Wow! I didn't know Nikon made contact lenses and I've been in the business for 30 years. I'll have to go back and study my supply catalogues more closely.

I'm pretty sure I read it right Paul. I've only got 2 week trials at the moment but when I asked her how much 30 day ones would be she brought them up on the screen and it said Nikon amoung other thing.

I had a thought you were going to say that :)

Now Feng, buy that damn 16-35 so i can buy the 12-24 ;):p

lol... if I buy the 16-35, i'd probably keep the 12-24 as a toy, and sell the 17-40... but then again... if I sold the 12-24 AND the 17-40, that's about right for a 16-35.... HRMMM.... is 16 wide enough.... :|

Yeah...there's new contact lenses appearing on the market every day.

As an interesting aside; Hoya make excellent spectacle lenses and just average camera filters, while Nikon spec lenses are crappy, their camera lenses have always been top notch (sorry fellas but let's face facts here). Kodak also make spectacle lenses and they're crappy too. Carl Zeiss make excellent spectacle lenses and the world's best camera lenses. Canon don't make spec lenses at all...which surprises me...but then their camera lenses have patchy quality and I include L lenses in that too. Pentax camera lenses are very well made and seem to have been always good quality, but their spec lenses are very:(

Makes sense, a lot less trouble for you that way.

Couple of pages ago I mentioned the slide 2 unlock thingy I'd installed on my pocket PC phone. Here's a screen capture of it with a Transformers (the Movie) wallpaper. The little sun thing is the current weather forecast and it will also do caller id, and other things like icons for sms and emails.

lol - it was looking so couth and cultured with the fork an' all... and then 'natural instincts' took over and it was every 'man' for himself.

Delightful shots.

I can't wait to tell them what to do with their job.

I dream of this moment too :) I'm just too lazy to do anything about it.

y'know - Davids mum has possibly got some shots just like that, too, but taken a bit longer ago than last week... :)

I only mention it because my wife thought she could see a resemblance between 'the nephew' and 3 (in his avatar).

haha I did it, but I was a tad more diplomatic. ;) Unfortunately I'm planning on transfering to another Woolworths Ltd company (probs Tandy or Dick Smith Electronics) this time around, so I might not get a chance. :(
