Ah, see? You already know! Now ditch that extra 23% FOV and join the One-Point-Threebies!!

lol! :D the only reason I'd join the 1.3bies would be for the integrated grip really :D hahahah

I love my full frame.. and if they bought out an entry level FF with integrated grip... woah baby :D

What about the improved AF? Young Jessica's going to start moving pretty quick soon. You don't want to miss a shot as she zooms across the living room!

Nah... 5D's AF is fine for me... plus... the main thing atm is full frame ;)... so the only one is the 1Ds series, which i am NOT shelling out for ;)

ALTHOUGH... if you wanted to swap me the 1DIII for a 5D, I'd be more than happy ;) Just won't go pay the extra moolah for one

mmm prawny goodness.

OK... List as below:

Helen - Monday or Tuesday
Feng - Monday or Tuesday
Rob - Tuesday
Nick - ?
Greg - ?
Paul - ?
Kinnon - ?
David - ?
Alexson - ?
Sam - ?
Kelsey-Lee - ?

Just quote that section and add those who can/can't

Sam: self timer? :D

Just use a timed release.

I can do either night but I'm going to be very tired for both of them. So I'd have to see how I feel on the day.

I believe Greg said he's out.

I offered that to Nick the other day - well perhaps I asked him to pay the difference..
I actually was disappointed with the AF on the 5D at riverfire the other night with the Roulettes. I had the 70-200mm on with AI Servo and centre point AF. When the roulette covered the entire centre focus circle it was fine but as soon as they started getting smaller it went hay wire. I never had that problem with the 350d.

Kelsey - If your dad isn't coming - I could pick you up after I finish work (Everton Hills) then we will have sort something out for you to get home.

I still have Mat's self time - deciding whether to buy that or shell out for the nice delayed timer which Feng and Mat have.

Odd... haven't really tried with BIF etc... but lightstream on RRTP thread mentioned some trick (which i have clean forgotten) when taking BIF etc.

And if anyone needs a ride, I'll be driving in from Wacol to City along the centenery fwy.

Oh, I see. So 1.3 is alright if it's free but not if you have to pay for it. Very disappointing.

I got my shots with using the ring fire. I find that's usually more effective if you've got smaller objects with a less distracting background.

LOL :D no it's not that... it's the cost... :D i can't justify it's price point... :D don't get me wrong... i'd love a 1DIII :D but the 5D @ 3Kish is much more affordable, and well... if I were to pick FF vs 1.3, I'd take FF.

now... what is ring fire? :D
