i was thinking of a park or something nearby greg. we could go there afterwards?

mmm, there is one park nearby but I'm not sure about the facilities. Plus the park is on the cnr of Beaudesert and Ipswich roads.

Nice shots there BTW Tina.

Ohh I like your shots Tina esp the one of the path.
Same to you Andrew - looks like you had a good walk.
That girl sure looks pretty snazzy in her pink netting.

We found this little bugger on that path and by george was he a poser. Almost would have thought he was a robot.

lovely shots there helen, the first pose looks just like mine! I must go and process it.

kinnon, i think i will be running out of time. You have my mobile, if you want to go to lennox head or somewhere on sat, let me know. I have no idea what is around. But i like the early light, not the middle of the day. I am off about mid day today, no computer for the w/e, goodness, i'll have withdrawal symptoms.
have a good w/e all.

Tina, I've got a couple of jobs in the morning with work, I should be finished about 9.30, and by the time I shower and drive to lennox it'd be about 11ish but that may be too late for you?

If you still want to meet up give me a call somtime and we can figure something out.

kinnon, i think i am still going to the coast. I feel so tired at the moment. If you want to meet up for lunch, that would be nice, not sure i want to shoot too much in the middle of the day. Any suggestions? Do i have your number? i cleaned out my mobile the other day. pm me with your mobile again.

I like the idea of the second one. The path is so mysterious. I like it Tina.

I have not seen that type of carterpillar before. The butterflies must be quite colourful. I have only seen some black and green ones around.

Lol Tina I found out with those photos that I really am not much of a birdie :) There is some half decent ones but none that I went wow over. Look at my pose :)

PeacePlanet,
The area which we were in for this was quite misty as you can see in Tina's photo so basically all I did in PS was up the contrast to bring back the depth and sharpen it a little bit. What it really shows is the quality of the lens I was using the 70-200mm f4 L. I tend to forget how sharp and the colour it has till I get an image like that in PS and go mmm I love this lens.
