What it really shows is the quality of the lens I was using the 70-200mm f4 L. I tend to forget how sharp and the colour it has till I get an image like that in PS and go mmm I love this lens.

helen, stop it, u r giving me subliminal messages!!

anyone want to get anything from b n h? i am getting the plamps from there, but the postage is a bit exy.

hey guys, what do you think of this? There are times when i want to take a really low shot, and it is not always convenient to lie down. I know it is no good for the longer lenses, but wide angle? down low? i did a low shot up at hervey bay, and i could have used one there, when i took that really low shot in the sand.

Hi guys,

Haven't been here a lot because i don't have internet. So i've been to a local internet café to upload some snapshots for the family back home.

If you want to have a look: http://www.onzelijst.be/Brisbane/ (external link)

Cheers,
Phil

You have been busy, Phil. I trust you're enjoying yourself?

Tina, I've got a few things I'm eyeing from B&H.

Glad to hear it.
I haven't seen UQ since I left it about four years ago now. The grass (or lack thereof) in the Great Court (and no doubt everywhere else) is certainly looking a bit sad these days.

And I'm sure that construction stuff outside Forgan Smith was there when I left

Some very nice shots added here in the last few days. That water dragon is superb as is that blue damselfy.

Ohhh, what have I missed? :o Practically 15 pages worth of posts. I'm disappointed that I missed Sunday's meeting... but I guess I wouldn't have made it anyway even if i'd known about it since I had to drop my German exchange student Chris at the airport and say goodbye to my other German friends. I can't wait till finish school, because I'm going back to Germany for schoolies! (legal drinking/nightclubbing etc. age = 16, my age when I graduate = 16/17 lol) Then I'm going to tour around europe, england etc. and africa with my friends. I already have a car, so I'm lucky I don't need to save up for one!. (I haven't checked here since more than a week ago. I'm ashamed.) Have'nt had time due to... socialising :D and other important stuff like *cough*school*cough*.

I'm doing my presentation at the Brisbane Camera Group this Tuesday! *is excited but nervous*.

I am still alive... just busy. :) Gosh, and I don't even have a part time job yet.

Kinnon

Please send the rain here to save our dying gardens. And do some macro while you are inside .. then you would have a brighter day for sure.

Come on .. show us your Macro skill ...

I just realised that Photography disease can be a psychotic one ... you just wanna take pictures of everything and anything ... For example, before I cook my bright orange pumpkin I need to take its picture first lol.

Let us know your strange photography indused psychosis.

Peace to you all ...

YES Rain you are so welcome in Brisbane ... come on dont be shy now ... :)
