These are 2 shots from an OHL game on the weekend. There were taken with a 20D through the glass at iso 1600 with a 75-300.

Nice captures, #1's collision shows your timing was right on. And in #2 the bokeh is nice. So what shutter speed were you able to get? And I assume the 75-300 is the canon? Finally who were the Batallion playing? I was at a Spits game 2 weeks ago but didn't bring my gear as I didn't know where my seats would be, wish I had as I was just to the left of the goal, oh well next I'll definately bring it. Do they hassle you at all bringing in your gear?

The timing and action in shot 1 are very good. it does have that "through the glass" look, but I guess that's the tradeoff for getting that great shooting position near the goal line.

The team is called the Brampton Battalion and their uniforms are, I suppose "Army Green". I am not a big fan of the colour myself.

Those are some butt-ugly hockey jerseys, but real nice pictures! I like the first one.

But green is supposed to be flattering to the figure!

Also aren't those the original colors of the ND fighting Sioux?

Like the shots!

Looks like the guy on the ground in the first shot is about to be stepped on!
