Both are taken at the 2006 end and both at end of the day, but not the same day. One is taken with a D80 with 300mm f4 af-s + tc 14 EII, the other with a Canon 30D with 400mm f5.6L.
Which it's which?

Thanks Karen, If you check at your local birding association, sometimes they tell where some observation have be made, so you can go there to see them. During the winter it's not rare to have the owl staying at the same place for period going from 1 or 2 weeks to... all the winter. 1DMK4, T6s, 100-400mmL IS II, 16-35mm f4, 100mm macro

Jan 18, 2007 08:25 | #13 Thanks for your comments. The first one are taken with the nikon D80. Printed they show somewhat the same amount of detail, but the one taken with the 400mm f5.6 are somewhere more subtil, and i'm be able to see the pupil in shots taken with that lens. Both are taken at iso 800. 1DMK4, T6s, 100-400mmL IS II, 16-35mm f4, 100mm macro

They are having an Owl Observation or something at Barfield Wilderness station in the last part of Jan at 5:30. I'm planning on going to that to find out where they are.
