Looks good to me, but not really sure what you are after. The colors look alright, so if you like it, roll with it.

That's a pretty one, but there's a lot of overcompression banding in the sky. It's only 31KB. If you get it up near 100KB, the banding should disappear.

Thanks.
I am not too good at posting or altering photos. Still have a lot to learn.
All advice is taken with gratitude.
Tony.

Hey Tony

Good looking shot.

What camera did you use? What lens? What settings?

LOL - enquiring minds want to know.

Hey Kiwibloke.
I used my 20D with 70-200L set on 2.8 AV. At 200mm.
The original image is pretty pin sharp. When I blow it up 100% You could see the pilot if he had his head at the window.
I love this lens. I just messed the image up when I posted it.

It's a great lens, for sure.

As Frank said, the compression hasn't helped too much. When you save the file - try a 'save for web' if your graphics program has that option and only lower the compression number far enough to have a projected file size of about 90k or so - then you will have a better quality picture on display. :)

The colours are really vivid and so true to form in this part of the world - well done again.

Thanks Kiwibloke.
I am sure a slow learner on this digital stuff after shooting with tranny film for so many years. I do have a save for web and will have a crack at it.
Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
Tony.
