who is the yougist person on this forum with a dslr ? i,m ten and i have a canon 10 d,tamron 70-300f4-f5.6,and i'm getting a sigma 17-70f2.8 and a canon 50f1.8.

Pretty sure you got the record. I'm 68 and I'm one of the oldest for sure. Never lose interest, photography is somethig that can give you all kinds of fun, all your life.


A 40D, a 30D, some nice glass and a great Shooting Partner.

I was 13 when I got my 300D and the 300mm zoom... got a job in the summer and now im upgrading :)... but you got me beat... although I did save up for it with a paper rout which took over a year :p

Hi littleben.
My daughter reads through some of this forum with me (she needs help with some of the longer words), she owns her own 350D, she will be 7 in 5 months.

My son (age 11), who shoots with a 10D, comes in a close second. He is already participating successfully in area competitions with adult shooters. And he already has his eye on my 70-200 f/4L! :)

Wheeee! I'm only 63 :)

Joking aside Jon, photography keeps us young, keeps us challenged, and adds lots of zest to our lives :lol: I truely enjoy every minute of my camera time!
