Hi, can anyone recommend a good manual for PS CS2. Is there a "Dummies" book or similar? I've checked out some of the links, and they are a little beyond me at the moment. I need it dumbing down a LOT! I manage ok with zoombrowser/dpp/lightroom/neat image for bits and pieces, but would like everything in one place. Thanks

The Sony web site offers free online courses on a variety of subjects.

One of them is Photoshop CS2.
They offer Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced PS CS2 courses. All free!

They are not currently offered but they rotate thier courses every few weeks and the CS2 courses are a regular part of their program.

I've taken all three, as well as other courses, and they were very helpful.

You need to take them in order, of course, but it is not required. I took the Advanced before I took the Intermediate. It was harder that way, but not impossible.

I just bought the scott kelbly book for elements 4 and I a love it! I would not get the "Dummies" book over a scott kelby book. It comes with a gray card, and all the photos used in the examples to be downloaded to follow along the step by step processes.
