Software needed for SD 600?

I just purchased the SD 600 and was wondering if I need to install any of the software or if WindowsXP will recognize the camera and allow me to transfer pictures. I also have an A80 and have all the software installed for it (ZoombrowserEX ver 5.5 and all the rest of the utilities) but rarely use them. I organize my photos using folders in Explorer and edit photos with Paint Shop Pro. So I guess I am asking if I need to install the drivers on the software CD for the SD 600 or if Windows XP will just install it's own.
