Jan 19, 2007 16:25 | #9 I had a "Steven King" moment when I planned this image. I wanted the bus to appear to be almost self-propelled... racing along, vacuuming up the kids of summer as it roared along the lonely back roads under a disconcerting sky. But I tried not to go over the top, I wanted it to be edgy without getting crazy. As I worked on it, I played a Ry Cooder soundtrack from a little watched movie, "Last Man Standing." I really like the movie's theme song... You know, it makes you sense that someting not quite comfortable could happen. Did I express a fidgety feeling with this image? Hope so... Ted Byrne

First its not just about a bus on the road, it gave me the feeling that the bus was out running a storm. It's difficult to explain just a great capture. The textures too work so well.

The composition is good but the processing in the sky is very very obvious. It doesn't look natural at all. Sorry. Weapon of choice: Canon Rebel XT with Canon EF-S 17-85 IS
