I recently was offered to shoot a big paintball tournament under an already well established paintball photographer. I have only done it a few times but he came to me and offered me the chance to go with him and shoot for him. His company will have the rights to the images but he said I can use them for my portfolio. My question is this, would my personal website fall under that or would it just be ok to put them in my book? Any comments/advise would be greatly appreciated as this is my first job!

I would think that your website would fit into that. I'd just clarify with the prime first.

I would agree. It seems that most people's portfolios are more and more on the internet than in an actual book. But this is just my newbie opinion

Same thing i thought, but i figured I ought to ask the pros what is customary. I will ask next time i speak with them anyway.

I think now a-days portfolio applies to either/or without clarification needed. Asking is probably polite, but not necessary.
