I am going to do a direct transfer but as bildeb0rg said it only took 24 hours i was wondering how he did it.
I always thought that direct transfer was only instant if its the same bank.
I know with my bank its like that.

It is instant transfer, if you pay cash into his account or if you are in the same bank as him. I dont kow how quick it is if you transfer money from differing banks to his. I have paid money into his account 2pm ish and he posted the item to me which i received next day. Cant complain about that can we.

But in fairness, 2% is not huge. Say it's a £500 purchase, its only an extra tenner. Paypal is so convenient.

The only thing is its pushing the price up. I can save around £40 by getting a 17-55IS f/2.8 from Onestop.
Ill have to have a think as my credit card will be paying for it. If i withdraw cash off it ill also get charged 2% so its just a cost thing. I have no problem using Ian as he has very good feedback
