Has anyone converted their 5D to IR?

Yep ,I can see myself doing that conversion to my 5D!:lol: Looking at the finnished product, Ummm.... what are is that mirror looking thingy and screws for?:p

If you can do it and have the camera spare, I say go for it!!

A 5D user would probably have a heart attack if he went to that site and saw it dissected like that. :lol:

Do we even know how IR sensitive the 5D is yet?
It could be an issue there.

Hehe, I'd definetely not do it myself. There's a link to their shop from that page, where they'll convert it for you for $350. :)

Definetely not for the faint of heart. :)

Reminds me of the photos from that guy who fixed the IS on his 70-200/2.8L.

Maxmax.com converts the 5D. Andy Williams from dgrin.com had one done.
