Her eyes look great, but I agree that I do not care for the stars on the eyelids at all...very distracting.

Strangely enough I've got a few people clamouring for stars on the eyelids!
I shoul probably tone them back a little.

I must disagree with jammer, selective colouring has it's place; and this photo isn't it. Leave the eyes alone, ditch the stars and the shot will look a lot better. IMHO

Being different for being differents sake isn't always a good thing, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Do you see a lot of mono portraits with the eyes coloured in? No! I wonder why? I stuck it in Photoshop and desaturated, looked better to me but as I stated in my previous post; it's only my opinion. If Dave likes it then that's all that matters.
