OK took the new 100-400L out today looking for some ducks. Well they all were hiding. That was the first issue. So I did find a few swans.....hey that's good. Now the second issue, had the camera set to 3200 ISO. Damn it left it there after screwing around last night in the house in real low light. Here's two pics @ 3200, no need for any CC I know what I did and what's wrong.

Noticed the shutter speed was real high but didn't even think of looking at the ISO. Lesson learned here is to always reset ISO to 100 when done playing around. Here is one more at 3200. Messed around with it a bit and kind of like this.

You should know better you should always reset the ISO to 100 after playing around in low light HAHA just joking, I do it all the time until I see 1/4000 shutter speed in the view finder and feel the recoil of my camera throwing me back.

I usually leave my ISO on 200

If I set it higher eg 3200, I invariably forget that I did so, and mess up a days worth of pictures.

I'm not very organised..

They turned out OK for being set at 3200 ISO. It just iritated me that I forgot to reset it.

Not to sound harsh,
But why did you post this thread, specifically why in the EF lens forum if none of the issues you mention in the title are lens related?

The title will draw in people expecting to try and solve a lens problem,. instead we are left baffled...
I honestly don't know what to do with this thread.. or how to respond ??

Sorry Cyber, Was thinking since it is a new lens and posting some of the first shots from it (even if they aren't very good)this was the place to be. Please move it to another location if you would think it would be more appropriate.
