Not bad, though as you said, its not fully populated. The shade of blue you've used isn't appealing to me, but once loaded fully it wasn't as off-putting.

Question: Do you need a portfolio gallery within your work samples section when the rest of your gallery should comprise your portfolio?

I am not sure about the blue. On the gallery with acouple of images the blue dominates the thumbnails. Even on the full images your eye is being caught all the time by the blue. It does look attractive but as the main aim of the site is to sell photos the image should stand out not the background. I agree that there is no need for a portfolio gallery, it almost says the images in the other galleries are of a lesser standard so why bother looking. Please feel free to comment on my site as I am no expert.
