I went to the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This was my first time shooting any sport, let alone hockey. It sure is a challenge! Trying to keep up with the pace of the game and anticipating moves was the hardest part.

#1 Love the expression of the puck carrier and the guy skating out of control (well his face shows he is not too happy with where he is going).
#2 could be cropped a bit tighter, the right side has nothing in it.

Hope you keep on taking sports photographs

AWOL for a few years but back now.
1DX plus too many lenses
Now using a Sony RX10M4 and loving it.
