I took this picture a while back, and it seems to be one of my favorites of this dog. It was just a quick little snapshot, as dogs are a lot like kids when it comes to asking them to sit and wait for me to get everything JUST RIGHT on the camera! Any comments or suggestions? I am always looking for ways to improve my photography skills, and this is the perfect place to do so! Thanks to all who are willing to lend a helping hand!

Thanks, brunester... nope, i don't believe it's a reflection of me. He is blind, and had an ulcer on that eye, which, unfortunately, left him with an indentation in that eye. He's still my baby though!

I have wanted to take a real close up of my pug with my fisheye lens to make her head look enormous. But every time I get that close to her head all she wants to do it lick the lens. Either that or sniff and sneeze. I havent gotten one yet without some weird substance on the lens.

Well, actually i took this photo with my kit lens. I'd love to have a couple days with a fisheye, though. They are intriguing!

Cute pic of one of my favorite dogs. Though, it's sepia, not black and white. Did a black and white conversion, since you've got edit OK.

No problem. I think it converted to B&W nicely.

By the way, what lens did you use? that picture is just so sharp and clear.

IMPRESSIVE!

Oh pugs are so cute... we have one and he is so old now... 15 years almost.

Anyway your image is cute, I would only suggest bumping up the contrast some to make it pop more... You can push the limits when doing b&W's and it will be just fine. : )
